Fairy Tales as Dreams: Rapunzel

Rapunzel

Join me for another deep-dive into a well-known Grimm’s fairy tale: Rapunzel. We will explore the narrative as if it were a dream, delving into its deep psychological themes and uncovering the wisdom it holds for personal growth and self-understanding. This class will focus on:

  • The theme of bareness and the witch’s garden';

  • Feminine archetypes and their goddess equivalents (girl, wife, witch, mother);

  • Themes of addiction, sexuality, blindness, and immaturity;

  • Linking the fairy tale to other stories explored in Dreamwork Circle, personal dreams, and personal experience.

How to participate

Please read the fairy tale before attending the class, in order to best relate the story to your own dreams and waking experience.
