Healing the Mythic Scapegoat

A creative approach to healing the scapegoat complex

Join me for an interactive class dedicated to the difficult, yet potent theme of scapegoating. We will explore the fascinating psychology of the scapegoat through mythological themes, contemporary cultural examples, personal dreams and stories, and the transpersonal healing and transformative potential of this complex.

  • The mythological meaning of the complex;

  • The scapegoat in contemporary culture;

  • Where it begins: scapegoating in families and groups;

  • Scapegoating, evil, shadow, and guilt;

  • The complex psychology of the scapegoat: adapting to a false life;

  • Healing the scapegoat complex: becoming the pharmakon.

How to participate

Please sign up through the buttons below. You will receive the Zoom link for the evening soon after.

This class is offered as part of the Dreamwork Circle curriculum and is free to attend for members. Non-members can participate by booking a space through this page, for only £20.

Please note that there are only a few spaces available for this class. This is to ensure that everyone can share and ask questions. There are no recordings available for this session.

If you aren’t available for the live session but wish to watch the recording, I recommend signing up for Dreamwork Circle on the Alchemist tier. For only £35/month (cancel anytime) you can access the recording plus over 20 hours of classes, as well as three monthly dream circles, exclusive content, and a supportive community of people fascinated by the symbolic life.
